Power Story Tarot Reading

In the day-to-day grind, we can lose our sense of enchantment: our unique qualities, exciting options, and all of the wondrous possibilities that exist for us.

Enter the magic of a Power Story Reading. Using oracle cards and the Motherpeace Tarot Deck, you will receive a 10-card circle spread that tells your unique story from a mythical perspective to identify empowering archetypes and themes relevant to your journey.

The reading begins with a selection of "touchpoint" cards from an oracle deck, followed by a 10-card sacred wheel spread from the Motherpeace tarot deck that includes intuitive storytelling about the suggestions the cards are offering you.

You will have an opportunity to ask additional questions and receive extra card pulls to unpack any particularly intriguing themes, messages, or archetypes from your sacred wheel.

Finally, you'll receive a last card as a take-away, or what I call a "do right now" card, to begin putting new ideas in action, or understand the best way to start embodying your empowering archetypes.

In a 50-minute, one-on-one session you will receive:

  • A 10-card circle spread based on the questions or themes you wish to cover in the reading

  • Additional clarifying card pulls

  • Additional oracle card pulls at the beginning and end of the reading

  • A recording of the session (optional)

  • Divine homework: following the reading, you’ll receive a follow-up email with invitations to go deeper into the themes in your spread (this might include book recommendations, dreamwork practices, journaling prompts, rituals, or supplementary background on key cards from your reading)

Meet April.

With my sun in Aries in the 9th house (travel, astrology, publishing, spirituality), it’s no surprise that long-term wandering, mysticism, and spiritual seeking have been the persistent, cohesive themes throughout my life and in my writing.

I have been a student of astrology for over 20 years, delving into its various sub-disciplines, particularly archetypal astrology and astro-cartography. As a nomad, solo traveler, vanlifer, and long-distance backpacker, I’m called to offer these readings to those who are struggling with questions similar to the ones I had five years ago: looking for a new place to live and not sure where that should be, mustering the courage and inspiration for solo wanderings and long-term traveling, craving a fresh start and craving a new perspective, a new story.
